The Lamborghini Asterion is stated to do 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds and have a top speed of 199 mph (320 km/h). The car weighs 3968 lb (1800 kg), giving it a power-to-weight ratio of 6.59 lb (2.99 kg) per hp or 334 hp (249 kW) per tonne. The Lamborghini Asterion uses the same seven-speed Lamborghini Doppia Frizione (LDF) dual-clutch automatic transmission as on the Huracán and is all-wheel-drive, with the front wheels also powered by the electric motors. It is currently speculated that its torque is far above 413 ft Its combined power output in hybrid mode (both petrol and electric) is 898 hp (670 kW). As a hybrid, the Asterion features one electric motor on the transaxle and another two on the front axle. The Lamborghini Asterion uses the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4's 5.2 L (5,204 cc) naturally aspirated V10 engine, which alone produces 602 hp (449 kW) due to being sourced from the Huracán LP 610-4. It was named after the Minotaur, a creature in Greek mythology that is portrayed with the head and tail of a bull and the body of a man, and known as Asterion in Crete. The Lamborghini Asterion LPi 910-4 is the first hybrid Lamborghini in the history of the company.
